Today the traditional family business has various furniture collections, where you will find iconic furniture designs by well-known Danish architects such as Arne Jacobsen, Nanna Ditzel and Viggo Boesen.

As a well-known and recognized Danish design brand, it is essential for the company that the correct and updated material is used. As well as anything from product images, 3D drawings to sales material is distributed as easily and efficiently as possible to physical stores, webshops, interior designers and the press. Sika-Design switched to Kontainer’s DAM-system in the beginning of 2020, and the number of different functions taken into use is increasing continuously.

"Previously, a big problem of ours, were when we had to send out press releases with certain material, it was often hard to find and associate. We desperately needed a filtering function in the system where the images were located, so we didn’t send our entire image bank, but instead could select and send links to specific products or materials directly to a dealer or a customer. “Since we sell furniture, we have a lot of different collections with many different products in each – our dealers are aware of this, but when the press have to find a specific table for an inspiration magazine, it can be difficult since they do not have the knowledge of all our collections, names and products. With Kontainer, an image is uploaded as a main file in one place, and from there we can create subcategories, descriptions and tags, which makes it easy to find what you need. It has been very useful to us. We have made it easy to find our way around both for our dealers and for our press people.”
